About the company

GreenSky provides consumer financing by connecting a network of about 16,000 active merchants with partner banks to offer fast, online loans for home improvement, healthcare, and retail purchases. Merchants use GreenSky’s platform to present financing options at the point of sale, and customers complete online applications. Banks fund the loans, while GreenSky earns revenue from merchant transaction fees and interest income from borrowers. The platform emphasizes speed and ease of use to help shoppers make large purchases and drive merchant sales. The company differentiates itself through its large merchant network, bank-partner funding model, and a specialized fintech platform that enables merchants to offer financing quickly at the point of sale. Its goal is to expand access to large-ticket purchases by providing quick, convenient financing solutions that boost sales for merchants and provide borrowers with flexible payment options.
