Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Loan Originator, LOA, or Processor
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA)
  • Working knowledge/proficiency in DU/DO, LP, and Encompass
  • Exceptional follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, social media savvy, and forward thinker
  • Customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong relationship building and problem-solving skills
  • NMLS and SAFE, UST preferred or ability to obtain State NMLS license within 30-90 days
Responsibilities
  • Promoting Envoy's products to various sources
  • Prospecting and procuring new loan applications
  • Educating borrowers on offerings and programs
  • Ensuring compliance in marketing
  • Reviewing and prioritizing loans in process
  • Performing document audits and resolving exceptions
  • Ordering credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications, and title work
  • Providing follow-up with staff, borrowers, and agents
  • Analyzing loan files and submitting completed loans for approval
  • Maintaining active NMLS license and staying current with guidelines
  • Complying with laws and Envoy standards
  • Conducting business ethically and in Envoy's best interest
  • Staying current on personal finance principles
  • Working primarily commission-based
