Requirements
  • Completion of an associate’s degree or a minimum of eight years of experience in a safety-related technical field.
  • Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work, answer questions with relevant examples based on prior experience, and resolve problems.
  • Maintain proper certifications and credentials.
  • Official transcripts must be sent to Human Resources upon hire.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and teach short-term, in-person industrial safety courses.
  • Initiate and develop new classes as requested within the instructor’s area of expertise.
  • Resolve student issues and concerns or refer them to the coordinator.
  • Communicate with the coordinator in person, by email, or by phone.
  • Perform related duties.
