- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of industry experience in mechanical design
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, geometric tolerancing, and 3D/2D CAD
- Working knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, etc.
- Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, Design of Experiments, etc.)
- Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing techniques (stamping, machining, injection molding, etc.)
- Lead complex mechanical solutions as a member of a multi disciplinary team
- Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems
- Work across the full product development cycle, from concept inception to shipping product
- Leverage external teams (CM/JDM/Vendors) to maximize the focus of our internal resources on adding value and differentiation to our products
- Push state-of-the-art technologies and approaches to solving complex mechanical problems
- Ability to travel to external vendors up to 20%
- 7+ years of product design and development experience of handheld and/or wearable electronics for high volume manufacturing, including full systems ownership
- MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience designing handheld and wearable electronics for high volume manufacturing
- Experience with NX
- Experience with products cosmetic surface treatments and interfacing with industrial design teams
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills
- Experience designing for human factors

They built Remnant Protocol as a love letter to games like TIE Fighter, X-Wing, and Elite Dangerous, with a narrative twist rooted in rebellion, politics, and power. I’m pretty nostalgic about the flight sims of the past like Wing Commander and Rebel Assault, and I wish I could break out the flightsim joystick more often.Time to pull out?The game has been out on Steam on the PC for a couple of years on 2D screens, but now it’s going into VR.
