Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience supporting facility operations, maintenance, construction, renovation, modernization, infrastructure, or facilities project management.
  • An active Project Management Professional certification or active Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer's Representatives Level II certification, or equivalent, is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing facility maintenance programs, capital improvement projects, renovations, repairs, or facility operations activities.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, engineers, architects, and facility stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, security, or other building systems.
  • Experience developing project schedules, maintenance plans, budgets, cost estimates, and status reports.
  • Ability to provide executive-level briefings and recommendations through strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to support a federal facilities environment and work onsite as required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage facility operations, maintenance, repair, modernization, and improvement projects across multiple facilities.
  • Develop and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for building systems and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security systems, and other building systems.
  • Monitor building system performance and proactively identify deficiencies, risks, and operational issues.
  • Conduct facility condition assessments, inspections, and site visits to identify maintenance requirements and facility improvement opportunities.
  • Manage maintenance contractors, vendors, consultants, and service providers supporting facility operations and repairs.
  • Support lifecycle planning, asset management, replacement planning, and long-term facility sustainment initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs, outage response activities, and facility restoration efforts as needed.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimates, status reports, and project performance metrics.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, corrective actions, and project documentation.
  • Support build-out, reconfiguration, renovation, and capital improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with government personnel, facility managers, contractors, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, building codes, life-safety requirements, accessibility standards, and organizational policies.
  • Prepare executive briefings, project updates, operational reports, and recommendations regarding facility priorities and investment strategies.
  • Support regional travel requirements to conduct facility assessments, maintenance reviews, and project oversight activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Facilities Management Professional, Certified Facility Manager, or similar facilities-related credential.
  • Experience supporting DHS, GSA, DoD, NAVFAC, FPS, or other federal facilities programs.
  • Experience using facilities management, work order, project tracking, or asset management systems.
  • Experience supporting facility lifecycle planning, asset replacement planning, and facility condition assessments.
