Occupational Therapist
About the job
- Registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
- One to two years of in-home community experience is required.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary clinical software.
- Provide occupational therapy services virtually.
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments using interviews, standardized tools, and informal assessment techniques.
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers.
- Assign, supervise, and monitor occupational therapy assistants as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation, including assessment findings, care plans, progress and discharge summaries, and reports aligned with referral source requirements and COTO standards.
- One to two years of experience is an asset; new graduates are welcome.
