Requirements
  • 4–8 years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, Growth Operations, or Performance Marketing — in a role where you owned measurement, not just execution.
  • Deep experience with attribution, funnel analytics, and performance reporting, including dashboards and executive reporting that drove real business decisions.
  • A track record of leading complex, technical, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, and of navigating ambiguity to drive outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking paired with operational execution — you can both find the insight and ship the system behind it.
  • An AI-first operator who actively uses AI to generate insights, automate workflows, and challenge manual ways of working.
  • Salesforce expertise is required. You should also be comfortable across the rest of our modern GTM stack: Sigma, Braze, Google Analytics, ChiliPiper, Clay, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Smartlead, Unify, Grain, Notion, WordPress, Riverside, and PartnerStack.
  • New York City based; able to be in-office 3–4 days per week
Responsibilities
  • Support the evolution of Coast's attribution and measurement framework by improving data quality, reporting, and operational processes that connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue (EPV), and customer acquisition (CAC) outcomes.
  • Establish Marketing's performance operating system, including executive reporting, monthly business reviews, quarterly retrospectives, and cross-functional readouts that provide a clear view of marketing's contribution to pipeline, revenue, and growth.
  • Own the integrity of marketing data across Salesforce, Braze, enrichment, and analytics tools, in partnership with RevOps and Data Engineering — including lead routing, lifecycle management, and campaign tracking, with consistent metric definitions across the org.
  • Run the operational backbone of our events motion: every lead captured, enriched, routed, and followed up on.
  • Deploy AI agents and automation that replace the manual workflows marketers run today — reporting, segmentation, enrichment, analysis — and lead the technical evaluation and implementation of new marketing tools

CoastPay provides smart fleet cards for fleets to control and monitor fuel spending. Cards can be configured with per-card spending limits and locked to fuel-only expenses or allowed for other categories, with quick activation, deactivation, and reassignment for security. Revenue comes from service fees, with rebates and cashback offering potential savings, along with personalized US-based support. The system differentiates itself through granular per-employee controls, fast card reassignment, strong security, rewards, and attentive customer support, aiming to reduce fuel waste and theft, streamline fleet card administration, and lower operating costs for fleet-heavy businesses.

Coast and Fleetio partner to embed fuel and fleet maintenance data in unified workflow

Coast, a spend management platform, and Fleetio, a fleet maintenance platform, have deepened their partnership with an embedded experience that brings fuel transaction data and payment management directly into Fleetio. The integration allows fleet managers to control spending and maintenance operations within a single workflow. The enhanced partnership enables Fleetio customers to apply for and manage Coast cards without leaving the platform. All Coast transactions automatically match to the correct vehicle, driver and cost centre, providing more accurate reporting on miles per gallon and total cost of ownership. Fleetio customers can also use Coast cards across the Fleetio Maintenance Shop Network with waived transaction fees. The integration eliminates the need for manual reconciliation between separate fleet operations and payment systems, giving managers real-time visibility into vehicle costs.

Vcs Think Rate Cuts Could Help Lending Fintechs

Are recent rate cuts good news for venture capitalist (VC) firms in the FinTech space?. A report Sunday (Sept. 29) by TechCrunch says the answer is yes, particularly for those FinTechs that depend on loans to keep cash flowing. Those FinTechs, the report said, include companies that provide fleet cards such as Ramp and Coast, earning money on transaction fees to merchants

Fintech Startup Coast Lands $40M Just 4 Months After Its Last $25M Raise

Coast, a startup that describes itself as “a financial services platform for the future of transportation,” has raised $40 million in Series B funding — just four months after announcing a $25 million round, the startup has told TechCrunch exclusively.Back-to-back fundraises were common prior to and during the wild investment days of 2021, but have been much more rare since the VC market downturn in 2022. That makes Coast’s latest haul notable.New York-based Coast compares itself to the likes of Ramp and Brex in that it has developed expense management software for fleet operators and their employees. To that end, and like the aforementioned spend management companies, Coast has created a commercial charge card designed for the businesses that operate vehicle fleets — and that niche focus has served the company well. While Coast declined to divulge hard revenue figures, CEO and founder Daniel Simon told TechCrunch that the startup grew about “10x” in both annualized revenue and payment volume in the last 18 months. (We’ll just offer the obvious caveat that a fast rate of growth could indicate a small initial base.)Coast counts “thousands of businesses” as customers that operate fleets in service industries such as HVAC, plumbing, landscaping and pest control; construction; government fleets; and long-haul trucking — some with just a handful of fleet cards, and others with more than 1,000, the company says. To date, it has issued over 100,000 cards.Image Credits: CoastICONIQ Growth led Coast’s Series B round, which also included participation from existing backers Accel, Insight Partners, Vesey Ventures and Avid Ventures, as well as new investor Thomvest
