- Plan the execution of first- and last-piece approvals and independently prioritize activities, coordinating with production when needed according to the control plan and inspection plan.
- Perform interim inspections and measurements according to the control plan.
- Perform inspections and measurements, including pressing forces, torques, three-dimensional measurements, manual measurements, and tensile and compression tests using Zwick equipment, according to the control plan.
- Document inspection and measurement results in inspection plans and the tool manager.
- Evaluate inspection and measurement results to identify trends and initiate preventive corrective measures.
- Approve deviations based on product and functional knowledge and prior decisions.
- Forward deviations to CQA, the manufacturing supervisor, and the team leader, and document approvals or rejections according to the decision.
- Label and archive first and last pieces and maintain the first-and-last-piece archive.
- Perform the monthly batch-related Zwick test.
- Define rework measures, create blocked-status labels and instructions, and instruct employees.
- Inspect and approve reworked parts.
- Maintain and update the blocked-status list, create scrapping records, book goods into blocked status in SAP, and maintain the blocked warehouse.
- Support WSP activities in production when needed.
- Support production with blocking and traceability activities.
- Act as the production contact for identified problems, decide measures based on available experience, and define boundary samples, consulting CQA when necessary.
- Maintain order and cleanliness, particularly in the blocked warehouse, SPC room, three-dimensional measurement room, and Hexagon area.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
