Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 15–18 years of exclusive experience in Detailed Design Engineering for multidisciplinary infrastructure and building projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Electrical MEP Detailed Design and should have led design teams for large-scale projects.

The candidate must have hands-on experience in detailed engineering and design development only.

Candidates with predominantly execution, installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, or design review experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Electrical MEP Detailed Design team for multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare and review detailed electrical engineering designs in accordance with applicable national and international standards.
• Develop complete detailed engineering deliverables including:
  • Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
  • Power Distribution System Design
  • Lighting Layouts & Calculations
  • Earthing & Lightning Protection System
  • Cable Routing & Cable Schedule
  • Load Calculations
  • Panel Schedules
  • Electrical Room Layouts
  • Equipment Layouts
  • BOQ/BOM
  • Technical Specifications
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure timely delivery of design packages while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Guide and mentor Electrical Design Engineers and CAD/BIM teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design coordination meetings.
• Optimize designs considering safety, constructability, cost, and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, IS Codes, IEC, IEEE, NEC (where applicable), and other relevant standards.

Preferred Industry Background

Experience from Engineering Consultancy or Detailed Design organizations involved in:

• Airports
• Metro Projects
• Commercial Buildings
• Industrial Facilities
• Powerhouse Buildings
• Large Building Infrastructure Projects

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 15–18 years of relevant experience in Electrical Detailed Design Engineering.
• Proven experience leading Electrical/MEP Design teams.
• Experience with EPC, Engineering Consultancy, or Detailed Design Consultancy organizations.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination experience.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical design standards and codes.
• Ability to manage multiple design packages simultaneously.

Software Skills

Proficiency in one or more of the following:

• AutoCAD
• Revit MEP
• Navisworks
• ETAP
• Dialux/Dialux Evo
• EPLAN (preferred)
• MS Office Suite
