Requirements
  • - Minimum of 6 years' experience as a hardware design engineer or similar role.
  • - Experience working with various Power Sources (Low Voltage DC, AC Industrial Distribution 110-480VAC). High Voltage (>1kV) a plus.
  • - Experience in overall control architecture, including remote I/O distribution (Ether cat, Device Net), Analog and Digital control, Motion control, etc.
  • - Understanding of hardware development, testing, and integration.
Responsibilities
  • - Design of electrical power distribution and control panels
  • - Cables & harnesses designing for AC modules, capital equipment, sensors, control systems etc.
  • - Create detailed layouts, schematics, and drawings for electrical/electronic engineering assemblies.
  • - Prepare engineering specification documents and test specs, coordinating with other BU engineering departments, software teams, and manufacturing teams.
  • - Document product releases and coordinate procurement and assembly of electrical/electronic components/equipment.
  • - Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical problems, identifying sources of issues in critical parts and subsystems.
  • - Design or modify control architecture with system-level knowledge, integration, and testing.
  • - Knowledge in the semiconductor industry or Industrial capital equipment is desired.
  • - Generate product specifications and perform engineering analysis of complex scope.
  • - Test hardware prototypes, generate failure reports, and suggest/perform repairs/modifications on a system level.
  • - Communicate effectively with other engineers to coordinate project efforts.
  • - Identify, troubleshoot, and implement solutions for a wide range of complex product issues.
