  • Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions, and support cash office operations as needed.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving products up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance.
  • Work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and other peak shopping times; report to scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks.
  • Remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
  • Work in and be exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
Responsibilities
  • Create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by greeting guests, helping them find what they need, resolving issues, and thanking them after each transaction.
  • Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
  • Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
  • Inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events, and demonstrate features and offerings in the Target app, including Wallet.
  • Explain Target loyalty-program benefits and assist guests with applications, sign-ups, and sign-ins as needed.
  • Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with food-safety standards and company best practices.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
  • Direct guests to enroll in, activate, and use Order Pickup, Drive Up, and online-ordering features.
  • Attempt every return or exchange, follow register prompts, and partner with immediate leaders as needed while following Target policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by gathering unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal.
  • Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Work safely, comply with safety policies, best practices, and training, and report hazards and correct them where possible.
  • Support Order Pickup, Drive Up orders, and Drive Up returns while complying with federal, state, and local adult-beverage laws.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
