Requirements
  • 3+ year(s) of professional experience in corporate finance research
  • Minimum of CFA Level II Candidate is preferred, but not required
  • Strong data management skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Strata and MATLAB
  • Ability to multi-task across analytical, administrative and research activities in a detail oriented and timely manner
  • Excellent analytical foundation with advanced understanding of the capital markets as well as financial statements and various debt and equity valuation methodologies
Responsibilities
  • Acquire a deep understanding of the global private debt and equity markets by mining Lincoln’s proprietary transaction, portfolio company, investment and valuation information to develop unique perspective and research
  • Analyze overall macro and micro market factors influencing the global private debt and equity markets
  • Collaborate with Lincoln colleagues on 'deep dive' perspective and research that is differentiated, substantiated, and clearly communicated
  • Publish timely and insightful thought pieces about the global private capital markets aimed at a broad audiences such as general partners and limited partners
  • Assist in maintaining relationships with external research analysts interested in also publishing unique perspective from their platforms as well as with professional organizations to enhance the visibility of Lincoln as a thought leader in the private capital markets
  • Attend and provide perspective in capital market meetings that are held with Lincoln’s Capital Advisory Group globally
  • Attend and assist in presenting relevant perspectives and research at meetings
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience writing thought pieces is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Capital markets research experience and strong writing skills
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and handle highly confidential information in a professional manner
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
