About the job
- At least 1 year of experience with SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0.
- At least 1 year of experience with Xcelsius 2008 for Enterprise Business Objects 3.1.
- At least 1 year of experience with SAP Dashboards for Enterprise BI 4.0.
- Experience with SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0.
- Experience designing and creating dashboards using Xcelsius.
- Experience designing and creating universes using the Information Design Tool.
- Act as a self-starter on a team of SAP Business Objects Enterprise consultants and employees and partner with current team members during the migration from Business Objects version 3.1 to BI 4.0.
- Integrate, design, build, migrate, and convert Business Objects 3.1 Xcelsius dashboards into new SAP Dashboards in the BI 4.0 environment.
- Use SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0, Crystal Reports BI 4.0, Web Intelligence, Business Objects Dashboard Design (Xcelsius) BI 4.0, and connections to various universes.
- Provide development staff with information about the differences between XI 3.1 universes and BI 4.0 universes.
- Participate in and help lead best practices and development standards for building new dashboards and converting existing dashboards for the BI 4.0 environment.
- Help the team avoid pitfalls and common mistakes using BI 4.0.
- Work with the BI team, analysts, architects, and management to design and develop optimal solutions in the BI 4.0 environment.
- Experience designing and creating universes using the Universe Design Tool.
- Experience designing and creating universes using the Information Design Tool.
- Experience migrating universes from the Business Objects XI 3.1 environment to BI 4.0.
- Additional BI 4.0 administrative or configuration experience.
- Web Intelligence 4.0 experience.
- Extensive experience with previous versions of SAP Business Objects Enterprise, Web Intelligence, universes, and Xcelsius; Business Objects XI 3.1 experience is preferred.
