  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Monitoring and Testing, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related functions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulatory environment.
  • Practical working knowledge of financial services compliance requirements and regulatory expectations, including Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Reserve Board, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, state regulatory requirements, and related compliance risk management principles.
  • Experience working with risks, controls, monitoring activities, findings, issues, or governance processes.
  • Experience supporting Compliance Risk Assessments, Monitoring and Testing, Compliance Governance, Internal Audit, or Operational Risk programs.
  • Experience with Archer, RSA, ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance, or similar Governance, Risk, and Compliance platforms.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization and reporting tools.
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and relational database concepts.
  • Experience with Python, Alteryx, SAS, BigQuery, Google Cloud Platform, or similar analytical platforms.
  • Familiarity with Gemini CLI, GitHub, Copilot, or other artificial-intelligence-enabled development and analytics tools.
  • Experience preparing executive- or committee-level reporting packages.
  • Experience supporting issue management, corrective action tracking, or remediation validation activities.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Support development, execution, and maintenance of the Compliance Risk Assessment Program.
  • Assist with maintenance of the Compliance Risk Universe, risk taxonomies, risk libraries, and supporting governance documentation.
  • Participate in risk identification, assessment, aggregation, and reporting activities.
  • Support collection, validation, and analysis of compliance risk information across business units.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of risk-rating methodologies and supporting procedures.
  • Provide analytical support for ongoing Compliance Risk Assessment enhancement initiatives.
  • Support execution, reporting, and governance activities associated with the Compliance Monitoring Program.
  • Assist with issue management, findings tracking, remediation monitoring, and corrective action reporting.
  • Analyze monitoring results, exception trends, and emerging risk themes.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis and identify process-improvement opportunities.
  • Support development of risk-based monitoring methodologies and reporting frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain compliance risk reports, dashboards, scorecards, and management information.
  • Support enhancement of Governance, Risk, and Compliance reporting capabilities and data-quality monitoring processes.
  • Perform analysis of compliance, risk, control, issue, and monitoring data.
  • Identify trends, concentrations, emerging risks, and control-environment concerns.
  • Use reporting and visualization tools to support risk communication and governance reporting.
  • Support automation and continuous-improvement initiatives related to compliance reporting and monitoring activities.
  • Coordinate preparation of Compliance Risk Committee and executive-leadership reporting materials.
  • Support development of presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting packages for governance committees.
  • Assist with preparation of quarterly, annual, and ad hoc risk reporting.
  • Translate analytical findings into concise executive-level reporting and risk insights.
  • Provide independent review and challenge of compliance risk information, monitoring results, reporting outputs, and business activities.
  • Identify, respond to, and escalate compliance risks, issues, and control concerns as appropriate.
  • Assist with oversight and monitoring of business-line processes and controls.
  • Identify process improvements, reporting gaps, and control-enhancement opportunities.
  • Support activities related to mitigating regulatory, compliance, operational, and reputational risk.
  • Lead compliance-related projects and mentor junior analysts.
  • Evaluate potential risks and identify control gaps in processes and systems.
  • Conduct ongoing reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Perform independent evaluations of controls and procedures to ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Ensure lending practices meet fair-lending laws and guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could disrupt business operations.
  • Use analytical tools to interpret data and uncover compliance issues or trends.
  • Assess internal policies for consistency with current regulations.
  • Document findings and communicate risks through clear, concise reports.
  • Build relationships across departments to support compliance initiatives.
  • Apply sound judgment in evaluating complex compliance scenarios.
  • Convey compliance requirements and findings to diverse audiences.
  • Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Design effective solutions to address compliance challenges.

Cardinal Infrastructure secures $250M delayed draw term loan and boosts revolving credit to $100M

Cardinal Infrastructure Group's construction subsidiary, Cardinal Civil Contracting, has secured a $250 million delayed draw term loan facility and expanded its revolving credit line from $75 million to $100 million through a Second Amendment to its Credit Agreement with Truist Bank. The delayed draw facility can be accessed in up to five separate advances over 18 months from the 10 September 2026 effective date. The amendment requires the borrower to maintain a Consolidated Total Net Leverage Ratio of no greater than 1.60 to 1.0 and Consolidated EBITDA of at least $125 million for the twelve months ended 30 June 2026. The expanded credit capacity provides Cardinal Infrastructure significant liquidity for potential acquisitions, project investments, or operational needs. The lending syndicate includes Truist Bank, First Horizon Bank, KeyBank, Regions Bank, and other financial institutions.

KeyCorp shares fall 6.6% after Q2 results, OFG Bancorp rises 5.4%

KeyCorp reported second-quarter revenues of $1.96 billion, up 6.7% year-on-year, meeting analyst expectations. However, the regional bank missed net interest income estimates. The market reacted negatively, with shares falling 6.6% following the results to trade at $21.78. The 94 regional banks tracked reported mixed second-quarter results. As a group, revenues were in line with analyst consensus estimates. Regional bank stocks have declined on average 1.7% since their latest earnings announcements. OFG Bancorp emerged as the best performer, reporting revenues of $190.3 million, up 4.4% year-on-year and beating expectations by 3.9%. The Puerto Rico-focused bank beat both earnings per share and net interest income estimates. Its shares rose 5.4% post-results to $52.71. Regional banks face challenges from fintech competition, deposit outflows, and commercial real estate exposure.

KeyCorp appoints Chris Doll as chief strategy officer and deputy CFO

KeyCorp has appointed Chris Doll as Chief Strategy Officer and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, effective 31 August 2026. Doll joins from City National Bank, a Royal Bank of Canada subsidiary, where he served as Executive Vice President and CFO. He previously held leadership positions at Fifth Third Bancorp, Omnicare, and First Financial Bancorp. In his new role, Doll will lead KeyCorp's corporate strategy team and serve on the finance leadership team and executive council, reporting to CFO Clark Khayat.
