  • Associate's degree, with combined experience and education accepted as a substitute for minimum education.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with planning and coordinating assigned service contracts.
  • Review contract agreements to ensure contracted services are provided.
  • Assess service quality for compliance with university policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, and contract specifications.
  • Administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard contracts.
  • Prepare contract documents, amendments, and other documents related to specific projects or services.
  • Inspect work quality and review agreements to ensure contracted services are provided in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Route documents for internal approval and external signature.
  • Ensure routing approvals and executed documents are uploaded to the department's project management information system and properly distributed.
  • Review contract request documentation for completeness.
  • Review certificates of insurance to verify compliance with contract requirements.
  • Communicate with project managers, consultants, architects, and contractors to obtain information needed to create contract documents.
  • Assist new vendors with procurement process requirements.
  • Liaise with customers to discuss and address service issues.
  • Identify possible impacts or outcomes and present recommendations.
  • Maintain contract logs and track master agreement expiration dates.
  • Issue amendments to extend contract documents.
  • Develop and maintain an internal database system to monitor and track contract services activity and information.
  • Maintain statistical information regarding contract services and generate reports as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with combined experience and education accepted as a substitute for minimum work experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current laws and regulations covering contractual agreements.
  • Experience coordinating contracts in university environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with project management system databases.
