Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Parts
About the job
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to travel up to 60% and an active, valid driver's license are required.
- At least 5 years of industrial sales experience are required.
- At least 3 years of industrial sales management experience are required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel, are required.
- Achieve regional business goals by expanding sales through new and existing customers within the West Territory.
- Remain accountable for the region's sales growth and profitability.
- Use sales and market data to forecast regional goals, market and industry trends, and growth opportunities, and create the regional sales strategy.
- Monitor evolving industry and market trends and potential gaps in current product offerings, then make strategic recommendations to company leadership for future product development.
- Foster relationships with independent manufacturer sales representatives to leverage their buy-in and ability to champion company products.
- Conduct on-site meetings and presentations and consult with current clients to identify opportunities to promote and upsell new products, troubleshoot customer issues, and solve problems.
- Manage pricing solutions for the region and make recommendations for price adjustments.
- Partner with the Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering teams to create strategies for promoting product lines through company communications, trade shows, and networking events.
- Travel 60% or more to attend key customer meetings, prospect for new leads, and attend trade shows and industry events.
- Experience in the bearings and power transmission industry is preferred.
- Experience working with a customer relationship management system is preferred.
