Junior Mathematician / Actuary / Physicist - Occupational Pensions
About the job
- A successfully completed degree in mathematics or business mathematics, at Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Diplom level, is required.
- Initial professional experience valuing occupational pension and other personnel obligations under the German Income Tax Act, German Commercial Code, and International Financial Reporting Standards is desirable.
- Completed or ongoing training as an actuary through DAV or IVS is desirable.
- Very good Excel skills and good Word and PowerPoint skills are required.
- Fluent German and good English, spoken and written, are required.
- Support national and international companies on all matters relating to occupational pensions.
- Perform actuarial calculations for occupational pension and other personnel obligations under German tax and commercial law and international accounting standards.
- Address occupational pension tax and labor law questions, including supporting and advising clients.
- Prepare forecasts and other analyses.
- Contribute to client projects as needed, such as plan reorganizations, changes in implementation methods, and mergers and acquisitions.
