- Manage the ordering and release of rework tools, handy tools, clip guns, and similar tools during product changes and new introductions.
- Act as the interface between production engineers and suppliers for newly designed tools.
- Install and support the release of processes for foaming tools, moulding tools, and other innovative tooling, including robots, automated guided vehicles, and virtual reality glasses.
- Create maintenance work instructions for all types of tools and ensure the maintenance team is trained and coached.
- Establish setup parameters and maintain the relevant figures in the system for necessary tools.
- Manufacture and/or coordinate service providers to deliver auxiliary tools and fixtures, as well as non-standard equipment.
- Perform activities to construct and modify assembly facilities according to requirements and standards during product changes and new introductions, following the process flow and plan.
- Define and set up the spare-parts database with all required information and order initial spare parts.
- Implement lessons learned and best practices, and share information within the Production Management network and country plants.
- Create and review local tooling preparation work instructions and training for the Production Maintenance team regarding tools.
- Monitor the traceability of ordered tools and the status of materials required for material configuration tests and validation.
- Support the execution of technical changes based on drawing and quality management requirements.
