About the Job

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
PSV/HGV mechanical experience, preferably within a bus or coach environment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Full UK driving licence.
PCV licence, Category D, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on buses.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and air-system faults.
Repair engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and other vehicle parts.
Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Work closely with the workshop team.
Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs when needed.
Keep the workshop clean and organised.
Manage and order parts when required.

Full-time | 5 out of 7 shift rota - (mornings, afternoons & late shifts)

What you’ll do:
