Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Master of Fine Arts degree in English, Writing, or Journalism is required.
  • Published works are required.
  • The candidate must have storytelling, publishing industry knowledge, and writing instruction skills.
  • The candidate must have experience contributing to or advocating for recognized literacy programs.
  • The candidate must have K–12 classroom writing enrichment experience.
Responsibilities
  • Present on literacy, creativity, and authorship in education.
  • Share personal writing journeys to inspire learners.
  • Engage educators on the importance of writing across the curriculum.
  • Facilitate book signings or writing workshops when applicable.

  • The candidate should be a published author or journalist with education-sector relevance.
