Airfocus by Lucid launches Product OS with bidirectional MCP and connected intelligence layer

airfocus by Lucid has launched its Product OS platform for AI-era product organisations, positioning itself as a product intelligence platform. The system features a connected intelligence layer unifying feedback, strategy, OKRs, roadmaps and delivery, plus a bidirectional Model Context Protocol server enabling AI agents across the technology stack to access product context. New capabilities include an insights agent for analysing customer feedback, an airfocus agent for conversational exploration of trends, and autofill fields for automated feedback categorisation. The MCP server provides secure access to structured airfocus data across external AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. Acquired by Lucid Software in 2025, airfocus serves product organisations globally. Co-founder Malte Scholz said the platform addresses the shift from execution speed to upstream alignment as the primary bottleneck in product development.

Lucid Software launches Process Agent and MCP Server updates to accelerate AI-driven team collaboration

Lucid Software has announced AI-enhanced collaboration features, including advancements to its Model Context Protocol server, Lucid AI improvements and a new Process Agent. The updates aim to help teams create complex diagrams and documentation more quickly. The enhanced MCP server now supports diagram creation from simple descriptions, with a ChatGPT Apps SDK coming soon. An Edit Document API launching in April will allow users to request changes within an LLM, with Lucid AI executing edits automatically. According to Lucid's AI Readiness Report, only 16% of knowledge workers describe their company's workflows as "extremely well-documented". The updates create what Lucid calls a "system of action", transforming siloed information into shared visual understanding to support human-AI collaboration and faster decision-making.
