Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- The candidate must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements.
- The candidate must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- The candidate must be able to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks.
- The candidate must have a strong interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn the trade.
- The candidate must be able to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
- The candidate must have a good work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
- Assist certified technicians with diagnosing and repairing customer and dealership vehicles.
- Help disassemble and reassemble vehicle components.
- Support technicians in performing comprehensive vehicle inspections.
- Record diagnostic findings, safety concerns, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Properly store and care for tools and equipment.
- Complete required training and certifications provided by the dealership.
- Follow all dealership and industry safety standards.
Desired Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in a professional automotive setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems is a plus.
