Wargame Specialist
About the job
- A Master's degree in Operations Research, National Security/Strategic Studies, International Relations, or a related field is required.
- At least 15 years of military operational or intelligence experience is required, including warfare qualification and knowledge of organizational management, concepts of operations, tactics, threat capabilities, targeting, sensor and collection techniques, operational planning, execution and assessment, and operations analysis.
- Must possess a fully adjudicated final Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information access.
- Provide general and specialized military expertise in warfighting functions.
- Design, develop, execute, and analyze military war games using wargaming theory and practice, as well as best practices for war game design and adjudication.
- Facilitate seminar and operational war games.
- Serve as a study team member, war gamer, subject matter expert, or scenario developer on intelligence-related tasks, including preparing and presenting briefings, preparing technical reports and documentation, coordinating and preparing for meetings and workshops, assessing military capabilities, and conducting data research and development.
- Joint Professional Military Education or experience in joint military operations is desired.
- Experience with doctrine, missions, functions, tasks, and military processes, exercise design, and scenario development is a plus.
