Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be bilingual in English and at least one of Polish, Russian, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish.
  • Bilingual candidates must pass a language performance test.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the ability to follow directions and collaborate within team environments while using PC-based information systems to access and analyze customer account data.
  • Applicants must interact with customers by phone and other contact channels in a responsive, productive, and professional manner.
  • Applicants must provide effective customer service and communication.
  • Applicants must sit or stand to answer phones and use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the workday.
  • Applicants must possess manual dexterity for sustained computer and phone work.
  • Applicants must work rotating shifts, including nights, midnights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The selected candidate must accept a System Emergency Assignment and work non-business hours during emergencies.

Responsibilities
  • Handle multiple calls throughout the workday and assist customers with inquiries, including electric or gas emergencies and billing explanations.
  • Use computer-based systems to access customer accounts and input transactions.
  • Analyze customer accounts to address billing inquiries.
  • Work part-time as a Customer Service Representative.
  • Attend part-time training at various work locations.
  • Work at Customer Operations Call Centers at various locations.

(Con Edison) (NYSE: ED) today reported 2024 net income for common stock of $1,820 million or $5.26 a share compared with $2,519 million or $7.25 a share in 2023. Adjusted earnings (non-GAAP) were $1,868 million or $5.40 a share in 2024 compared with $1,762 million or $5.07 a share in 2023. Adjusted earnings and adjusted earnings per share in 2024 exclude adjustments to the gain and other impacts related to the sale of all of the stock of Con Edison's former subsidiary, Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses, Inc.
