Production Operator 1 - Third Shift
About the job
- Self-motivation and the ability to work at the appropriate pace to meet production targets.
- Ability to work in teams and communicate one-on-one or in small groups.
- Manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of fill machines, pallet jacks, box cutters, and batch/RF guns is helpful.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to read and comprehend standard work instructions, training materials, and equipment safety instructions.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment and completing appropriate safety training.
- Complete production tasks on a rotational basis as assigned by the department supervisor or team leader.
- Retrieve and verify raw materials; follow department procedures to produce, package, label, and palletize finished products.
- Process unused raw materials and maintain workplace organization throughout the day.
- Refer to charts for necessary measurements, personal protective equipment, batch coding, and related production information.
- Complete production documentation as required.
- Inspect products for quality, including labels, weights, and visual characteristics.
- Assist in cleaning the work area and department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- One year of relevant production work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
