The partnership introduces two new protection products for Thomas Cook customers booking holidays in the UK. Travellers can choose between a comprehensive travel insurance option and a trip cancellation protection plan, allowing them to select coverage based on their individual needs. The comprehensive travel insurance policy includes protection for key travel concerns such as medical expenses, holiday cancellations and lost baggage. Meanwhile, the cancellation protection option provides coverage if customers are unable to travel due to specific unexpected circumstances covered under the policy. Travel Trends Report Cover Genius delivers embedded protection solutions for major travel and digital brands across international markets. Its XCover platform supports millions of customers in more than 60 countries by managing insurance coverage, policy services and claims. Initially available to Thomas Cook customers in the UK, the new Travel Comprehensive and Trip Cancellation products will be integrated directly into the company's online booking experience. Customers purchasing insurance through the Thomas Cook website will receive policy details and confirmation messages from XCover. All coverage management and claims processes will be handled through the XCover platform, creating a streamlined digital experience for travellers. Bookingkit and NaviPartner form strategic partnership. Bookingkit has joined forces with Denmark's NaviPartner to offer a one-stop-shop for leisure experiences and attractions. NaviPartner is a Microsoft Solutions Partner for retail, attractions and hospitality, while Bookingkit is a platform for booking, marketing and managing leisure experiences. By combining NaviPartner's on-site operations and entry management expertise with Bookingkit's channel management offering, the partnership aims to create a seamless process from the first sale through to on-site redemption. Attractions operate an increasingly complex technology landscape, and ticketing, access control, retail and financial processes need to work together, while sales have to reach visitors across a growing number of online channels. The partnership will bring these two worlds together: NaviPartner will deliver the unified on-site backbone through its NP Attraction platform, while Bookingkit provides one of the world's most powerful channel managers to distribute those experiences across leading sales channels. GetYourGuide has launched its 2026 global brand campaign, "Book Forward to It", challenging the myth that the best travel experiences happen spontaneously. The campaign, developed with creative agency Preacher, targets the 80% of travellers who prioritise preparation over impulse. The integrated campaign runs across TV, connected TV, digital video, out-of-home, radio, paid social and streaming audio in the US, UK, France and Germany. It features four hero films showcasing real travellers in Mexico, Italy, Spain and off-the-beaten-path destinations, demonstrating how memorable moments stem from advance planning through the GetYourGuide app. The campaign follows GetYourGuide's landmark year achieving profitability, €1 billion in revenue in 2025, and 33 million experiences booked. The company recently appointed Rob Rekutriak as chief product officer and launched a ChatGPT app.
