Jennifer Marks// Editor in Chief//August 30, 2026 West Chester, Pa. - Out of bankruptcy and on the search for a permanent CEO, QVC Group has eliminated two senior executive positions, effective Sept. 4. Exiting are Stacy Bowie, president of president of the HSN brand and U.S. merchandising, and Alex Wellen, president and chief growth officer, according to a report from the Philadelphia BusinesLinks Journal. Bowe, a former Macy's exec, joined the company in September 2022 as chief merchant for HSN. Wellen came aboard in March 2025 as president and chief growth officer for QVC Group. The company - whose properties include QVC U.S., HSN, Cornerstone Brands and QVC International - emerged from Ch. 11 bankruptcy in early August with an interim CEO, a fresh board of directors, a new $600 million asset-based lending facility. The financing is led by funds managed by Strategic Value Partners and its affiliates along with Oaktree Capital. The company plans to expand its position in live social shopping across social platforms, streaming apps, e-commerce sites, retail stores and television networks. President and CEO David Rawlinson, who joined QVC Group in 2021, stepped down on Aug. 6 and has been succeeded by Mike George as interim CEO and chair of the board of directors. The company announced at the time that had begun looking for a permanent CEO.
