  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of residence.
  • BLS or CPR certification.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.

  • Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction and strong communication and assessment skills.
Responsibilities
  • Support patient assessment and prioritization for walk-in and telephonic triage to ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care and avoid unnecessary hospital visits.
  • Execute protocol-driven chronic condition management.
  • Perform skilled nursing procedures, including wound care and medication administration, including vaccines.
  • Provide comprehensive patient and caregiver education about chronic conditions and preventive care in person, over the phone, or in group settings.
  • Conduct medication reviews during nurse-led visits to ensure patient safety and adherence.
  • Conduct onsite testing, including point-of-care labs, EKGs, and specimen collection, and use patient data to identify and close gaps in preventive screenings while ensuring compliance with state scope of practice.
  • Review and act on high-priority abnormal laboratory results in a timely manner to maintain patient safety and continuity of care.
  • Partner with providers and the interdisciplinary team to manage complex care plans and coordinate weekly transitions for patients moving from the hospital back to the clinic.
  • Use standardized protocols for medication management, prescription renewals, and prior authorizations.
  • Ensure clinical communications are managed, tasks are completed, and patient visit encounters are closed in a timely manner.
  • Delegate to medical assistants and phlebotomists as needed to support patient flow and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Support the coordination, integration, communication, and implementation of nursing practice and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify barriers to optimal care, including physical, cognitive, language, literacy, socioeconomic, cultural, and behavioral barriers.
  • Create a welcoming and engaging environment that meets the needs of patients, communities, families, and teams.
  • Deliver a positive patient experience through service, responsiveness, and respectful care.
  • Serve as a key clinical voice in daily care team meetings to align on patient priorities and clinic operations.
  • Serve as a support and resource for nursing staff, other clinical staff, and providers.
  • Ensure clinical compliance with patient safety initiatives and reporting.
  • Provide emergency care in accordance with organizational procedures.
  • Engage in self-evaluation and participate in activities that promote professional growth and development.
  • Seek, acquire, and maintain current nursing knowledge and competence to fulfill Center Nurse responsibilities.
  • Maintain awareness of current patient-centered, evidence-based practice and consider applicable research data in patient care delivery.
  • Identify and report professional misconduct appropriately.

CVS Omnicare completes $250M bankruptcy sale after $440M government settlement

CVS Health's Omnicare division has completed its Chapter 11 bankruptcy liquidation after selling its business operations for $250 million. A Texas bankruptcy judge approved the wind-down plan following a $440 million settlement with the Justice Department over improper billing practices. Omnicare, which served nursing homes and long-term care facilities, filed for bankruptcy in September 2025 after facing a $949 million judgement for fraudulently dispensing drugs without valid prescriptions and billing federal healthcare programmes for false claims. The settlement requires CVS to pay $130 million upfront and cover the remaining $310 million if Omnicare fails to do so by March 2028. GenieRx Holdings, a joint partnership between Milrose Capital and Integro Asset Management, purchased Omnicare's operations. The sale is expected to close next month.
