About the job
- Must be a full-time student at Grand Valley State University.
- Must be eligible to participate in the Co-op program for summer 2027.
- Rotate through three of the Controls, Project, Mechanical, Field Service, or Autonomous Mobile Robot Integration Engineering teams based on company availability and the co-op's interest.
- Perform controls design, programmable logic controller programming, robot programming, customer visits, and troubleshooting.
- Tune and debug machines, work with mechanical systems, and interact with customers.
- Design machines and work with SolidWorks, mechanical power transmission, and fluid power systems.
- Manage service projects, provide customer service, prepare quotes, and provide on-site custom support.
- Support autonomous mobile robot integration, perform system testing, program missions, and prepare technical documentation.
