Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity, including at least 5 years in a dedicated leadership role.
- Proven experience managing a Security Operations Center, incident response, cybersecurity operations, or working in a Managed Security Services Provider environment.
- Strong expertise in cloud security, Security Information and Event Management/Security Orchestration, Automation and Response, network security, Identity and Access Management/Privileged Access Management, Endpoint Detection and Response/Extended Detection and Response, and security architecture; deep understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and cyber risk management.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
- Experience leading cybersecurity consulting, enterprise security projects, or client-facing engagements.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company's technology and cybersecurity strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technology and cybersecurity teams.
- Lead and oversee the Security Operations Center, incident response, threat monitoring, and cyber defense operations.
- Manage delivery of cybersecurity services, including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, red teaming, cloud security, and managed security services.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient technology infrastructure and security architecture.
- Drive innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across security operations and platforms.
- Advise enterprise and government clients on cybersecurity risks, solutions, and best practices.
- Support business growth through technical pre-sales, solution architecture, executive presentations, and customer engagement.
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity governance, policies, standards, and compliance frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
- Manage strategic partnerships, technology vendors, budgets, and cybersecurity investments.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, or OSCP, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Google SecOps, Mandiant, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, or Splunk.
