Chemical Lab Technician

Genadyne Biotechnologies Inc. is a fast growing US based developer and manufacturer of specialized medical equipment and wound treatment products shipped throughout the United States and around the globe.

Seeking a Laboratory Technician with a Chemistry background to make and dispense a solution into unit dose vials, label, package product for shipping, accurately maintain records, and ensure work area such as lab and warehouse are neat and stacked. This is a new opportunity in an exciting fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High level of attention to details and concern for the correctness of work
• Be able to use basic chemistry equipment
• Advanced computer skills (database, excel)
• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong commitment to completing tasks on time
• Work well under pressure
• Self-driven and work well under minimal supervision
• Must speak fluent English 

The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, is well- disciplined and exhibits strong follow through on delegated tasks and assignments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a peristaltic dispensing pump, Millipore water dispenser, magnetic stir plates (etc.) and ensure all equipment is calibrated.
• Document the instrument service actions and assists in maintaining the instrument history records
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow procedures in a consistent manner.
• Prepare shipment of the product and other items to vendors with required documentation
• Maintain accurate inventory of all ingredients and supplies used, and ensure adequate supply to meet demand
• Develop and maintain positive relationships through effective and timely communication.

Previous experience in laboratory environment is expected.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (or similar) preferred. A degree in Sciences accepted with relevant experience.

RATE:

$20.00 - $22.00/hr.
