- Typically 5–8 years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
- Work independently on complex features with minimal day-to-day hand-holding.
- Strong working experience with Angular or React.
- Develop maintainable, modular UI components and integrate them with backend APIs.
- Understand state management, routing, performance considerations, and error handling.
- Have awareness of accessibility and usability standards expected in enterprise applications.
- Have strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement production-grade REST APIs following DTCC standards.
- Have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, including service boundaries, configuration management, inter-service communication, error handling, and resiliency.
- Have working experience with Kafka or equivalent messaging systems, including producers and consumers, topic usage, and message versioning awareness.
- Apply logging, monitoring, and exception strategies suitable for regulated environments.
- Have strong SQL proficiency, including complex joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
- Diagnose and fix basic query or data-related performance issues.
- Have working knowledge of Docker and OpenShift or Kubernetes concepts.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot build or deployment failures.
- Write unit and component tests as part of normal development.
- Participate in code reviews with a strong quality mindset.
- Understand secure coding principles and follow DTCC security standards.
- Be aware of audit, compliance, and resilience expectations in a financial-services environment.
- Be visa independent and work on W2 terms only.
- Own the design and delivery of stories end-to-end, from refinement through production support.
- Act as a go-to engineer within the squad.
- Develop and integrate frontend UI components with backend APIs.
- Design and implement production-grade REST APIs.
- Write unit and component tests and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot build or deployment failures and diagnose basic query or data-related performance issues.
- Exposure to AI tools such as Kiro or Amazon Q.
