Requirements
- 6+ years of Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence design and development
- 5+ years of experience in ETL Development, using Informatica. Informatica 8.6.1 would be plus
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, defects and remediate them. Experience in resolving ETL performance issues.
- Strong Unix and Windows Scripting skills.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle 10g or later, with a proven ability to perform thorough analysis. Teradata experience a plus.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle for Datawarehouse and Business Intelligence projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or on a team with high motivation and quick learning.
- Excellent analytical, technical aptitude and proven ability to solve problems and the ability to engage effectively with business and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL jobs in Informatica against Relational databases and Flat files.
- Gathering business requirements and creating technical specifications and ETL mapping documents.
- Work closely with Datamodelling team and DBAs.
- Develop Unix Shell Scripts for jobs automation.
- Develop error handling capabilities and Performance tuning.
- Develop and execute Unit test plan and support SIT/UAT testing.
- Troubleshoot & analyze production issues and provide support (including off-hours at times)
