Requirements
  • Five years of management experience within the realm of information technology (IT) support and/or IT management.
Responsibilities
  • Supports oversight of student scheduling, supervision, and training.
  • Coordinating facility maintenance and interacting with Enterprise Management System (EMS) Technicians.
  • Adherence with EMS directions to replace monitors, desktop computers, and servers as well as verify operation of hardware and software in the Digital Training Facility (DTF).
  • Maintenance of facility security, operation of equipment, and assistance of students in using assets provided in DTFs.
  • Monitoring and reporting the condition and inventory of information technology hardware, desks, chairs, and other furniture at site locations.
  • Partners with other appropriate entities to create secure lab environments.
  • Performing with hands-on equipment, operation, and on-site operations.
  • Provides appropriate metrics and reports to designated Management, Section Leadership, and Stakeholder Staff.
  • Provides server and application support and maintenance.
  • Reporting the operational status of the DTFs to the appropriate chain of command and Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).
  • Scheduling the use of their respective DTFs as well as providing hands-on assistance to the Product Manager Army Training Information System (ATIS) and Enterprise Management System (EMS) staff.
  • Scheduling training in DTFs in coordination with Soldiers and the Distributed Learning Point of Contact (DL-POC).

  • Strong computer hardware and software skills (including Microsoft Server, Windows desktop management, and printing management solutions).

  • Interpersonal skills, including effective training skills.
  • Ability to manage programs, including development, marketing, and assessment.

  • Ability to provide effective training experiences ( instructional planning and design ).

  • OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
