Requirements
  • hold an MD degree or equivalent
  • have postgraduate clinical training in Pediatrics
  • have completed specialty training in Developmental Pediatrics with certification by the Collège des médecins du Québec or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent)
  • hold or be eligible for licensure to practice medicine from the Collège des médecins du Québec
  • Bilingual language skills (French and English) are preferred, or a commitment to acquire the necessary language skills to practice medicine in Quebec.
Responsibilities
  • contribute as a full member of the Division of General Pediatrics with an expert focus on Developmental Pediatric care
  • have a principal role in the Developmental Pediatrics Program
  • provide excellent clinical teaching and supervision to undergraduate medical students, residents and fellows
  • contribute to academic rounds and administrative committees
  • be involved in a variety of teaching, research and advocacy efforts within the hospital setting and beyond
  • participate in departmental and divisional academic activities such as research, teaching, quality improvement, and program development
