  • BA or BS in Industrial Design or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience as a designer involving small appliances, consumer electronics, or a related role
  • MS in Industrial Design or a related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work under supervision or guidance
  • Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Supports in designing and creating high-fidelity illustrations to demonstrate actual physical products
  • Prepares functional and visual prototypes for research purposes and internal review
  • Maintains quality standards for design throughout the product lifecycle
  • Stay informed on current and emerging trends, innovations and materials within the industry
  • Develops product design solutions and ensure usability from conceptualization to production
  • Collaborates cross functionally to conceptualize, visualize and create new products
