Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive accounting experience, including a minimum of three years in a supervisory role, is required.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and software, including Infor Syteline, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Excel, is required.
  • The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The role requires the ability to analyze, explain, and solve problems with minimal or no direction.
  • The role requires a high level of efficiency and precision, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the enterprise-wide accounting function and supervise on-site accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial management and reporting and efficient department operations.
  • Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that major projects, month-end reports, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial statements compliant with United States generally accepted accounting principles for multiple entities.
  • Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures to increase internal controls, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate the accounting team while supervising and delegating department tasks.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports for management and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records and participate in audits or reconciliations as needed.
  • Support other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions with potential financial impact on the business.
  • Oversee payroll, treasury, and insurance processes and reports.
  • Lead the external financial audit process, including preparing audit schedules, coordinating requests, and managing auditor communications to ensure a timely and successful audit.
