Valeo and Anritsu to showcase digital twin validation solution for Software-Defined Vehicles at the 5GAA meeting.

Valeo and Anritsu to showcase digital twin validation solution for Software-Defined Vehicles at the 5GAA meeting. Oct 27, 2026 ANRITSU CORPORATION and Valeo have announced that they will jointly showcase an innovative digital twin validation solution for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) at the 39th 5G Automotive Association (5GAA) Meeting, taking place in New Delhi, India, from October 26 to 29, 2026. Building on their joint demonstration at MWC 2026 in March 2026, the two companies are expanding their exhibit to include new use cases such as Emergency Call (eCall). This solution provides an innovative way to validate in-vehicle connectivity in a virtual environment, significantly reducing the need for physical track testing. Gilles Mabire, Valeo CTO Brain Division, stated: "As vehicles become increasingly software-defined, seamless and resilient connectivity is critical to the future of mobility. By expanding our collaboration with Anritsu to virtualize complex network validation including critical safety applications like eCall, we are enabling automakers to accelerate development cycles, cut physical testing costs, and deliver safe, scalable SDV features to market faster." Shinji Hoshino, General Manager of the IoT Test Solutions Division, Anritsu Corporation explained: "The transition to Software-Defined Vehicles demands a more agile and repeatable approach to connectivity validation. By integrating Valeo's Virtual ECU platforms with Anritsu's connectivity simulation technologies, we are enabling a scalable virtual testing methodology that bridges real-world driving data and deterministic laboratory validation. This allows developers to identify and resolve connectivity edge cases earlier, reduce reliance on costly field testing, and accelerate the delivery of high-quality connected vehicle features." Addressing the Complexity of Next-Generation Vehicle Connectivity As the automotive industry shifts toward software-defined vehicles (SDVs), in-vehicle connectivity is advancing rapidly enabling essential features like over-the-air (OTA) updates, cloud integration, and 5G/C-V2X communications. However, validating these systems in real-world conditions requires testing thousands of potential combinations across different mobile networks, environments, and vehicle states. Relying solely on physical vehicle testing presents major hurdles in cost, development time, reproducibility, and scalability. To address these challenges, Valeo and Anritsu have integrated Valeo's virtualized ECU simulation platform with Anritsu's advanced cellular testing technology. This joint solution pairs Anritsu's software-based in-the-loop simulator with a virtual engine that accurately recreates complex, real-world network conditions. By generating cloud-based or local digital twins, automakers can now virtually simulate complex multi-carrier (inter-MNO) network handoffs and multi-vehicle V2N/V2X scenarios in a controlled, highly scalable environment.

Valeo to develop automotive computing platforms based on NVIDIA Hyperion.

Valeo to develop automotive computing platforms based on NVIDIA Hyperion. Valeo will develop and industrialise automotive-grade high-performance computing platforms based on NVIDIA Hyperion, combining its vehicle integration expertise with NVIDIA's computing architecture to support the development of autonomous and software-defined vehicles. The initiative focuses on the growing demand for centralised computing systems capable of processing large volumes of data required for advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving. The platforms will be designed for automakers seeking scalable systems that meet automotive safety and production requirements. NVIDIA Hyperion is a reference sensor and computing architecture for Level 4 autonomous vehicles and robotaxis. Valeo will use the architecture, together with NVIDIA Halos, the company's safety system, to develop production-ready platforms tailored to vehicle manufacturers' requirements. The platforms will build on NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor in a dual-compute architecture. This configuration is designed to provide the artificial intelligence processing performance and redundancy needed for Level 4 autonomous driving applications. The systems are intended to support a range of vehicles, including passenger cars, autonomous trucks and robotaxis. Valeo will contribute its experience in automotive system integration, functional safety and industrialisation to adapt the architecture for large-scale vehicle production. The companies expect the approach to help automakers simplify system integration, reduce complexity and bring new vehicle technologies to market more efficiently. Marc Vrecko, CEO of Valeo Brain Division, said the collaboration supports the company's work to make autonomous driving safer and more scalable. He said the integration of NVIDIA's computing technology into Valeo's platforms would provide automakers with centralised computing capabilities for future vehicle applications. Rishi Dhall, Vice President of Automotive at NVIDIA, said Valeo's experience in high-performance computing, vehicle integration and automotive manufacturing would support the adoption of NVIDIA Hyperion and NVIDIA Halos in production vehicles. He said the collaboration would address the computing performance, safety and scalability requirements of Level 4 autonomous vehicles and robotaxis. The development comes as automakers increasingly move towards software-defined vehicle architectures, in which vehicle functions can be updated and expanded through software. Centralised computing platforms are expected to play an important role in integrating sensors, processing data and coordinating vehicle functions. Valeo is a global automotive technology company with businesses spanning powertrain and electrification, advanced driver assistance systems, lighting and software. Its operations include the POWER, BRAIN and LIGHT divisions and Valeo Service. The company reported sales of €20.9 billion in 2025 and had around 100,000 employees, 149 production plants and 59 research and development centres across 29 countries as of February 2026. Valeo is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange.

Valeo confirms full-year targets despite quarterly revenue decline.

Valeo confirms full-year targets despite quarterly revenue decline. The auto parts maker is benefiting from a return to growth in its BRAIN division, but remains hurt by weak activity in Europe and China. The group is counting on a recovery in growth in 2027. Published on 10/22/2026 at 12:24 pm EDT MarketScreener.com - Translated by Marketscreener - See original Valeo's revenue came to €4.88bn in the third quarter of 2026, compared with €5bn a year earlier, representing a 2.3% decline on a reported basis and a 2.6% drop on a like-for-like basis. Currency effects contributed positively by 1%, while changes in scope had a negative impact of 0.7%. Original equipment sales fell 3.8% on a like-for-like basis to €4.08bn, in a global automotive market that contracted by 1.6%. Replacement activity, meanwhile, rose 3% on a comparable basis to €516m. Geographically, original equipment sales declined 7.1% in Europe and 12.9% in China on a like-for-like basis. By contrast, Asia excluding China posted 7.5% growth, while North America was stable. The two latter regions outperformed their respective automotive markets by 3 and 5 percentage points. By division, BRAIN, which covers driver assistance systems and onboard electronics, returned to growth, posting an 8.2% increase on a like-for-like basis, with reported revenue of €1.198bn. This momentum was driven notably by display and telematics activities, as well as the ramp-up in vision systems production. The POWER and LIGHT divisions, covering electrification and energy management, and lighting and signaling, respectively, posted revenue declines of 7.8% and 1.2%. "The rebound in BRAIN's activity is a positive signal. It marks a first concrete step toward the Group's return to growth in 2027," said Christophe Perillat, Valeo's chief executive officer. For the first nine months of 2026, the group's revenue reached €15.26bn, down 2.5% on a reported basis and 0.3% on a like-for-like basis. For full-year 2026, Valeo confirmed its targets, calling for revenue of between €20bn and €21bn, an operating margin of between 4.7% and 5.3%, and free cash flow after net financial interest expense of more than €400m. In the second half, the group is targeting an operating margin as a percentage of revenue and free cash flow equivalent to those reported in the first half. It also anticipates sequential growth in activity in the fourth quarter, in line with typical seasonality. Valeo shares ended the session down 4.3% and were still down 1.2% in after-hours trading.
