Amcor's China lab receives CNAS approval, enabling market access across 116 countries

Amcor's Asia Pacific Innovation Center laboratory in China has received accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment, following an 18 to 24-month assessment period. The approval enables the laboratory to produce test results recognised in 116 countries, supporting customers with market entry and regulatory compliance. The accreditation strengthens Amcor's presence in emerging markets and allows the facility to streamline compliance processes whilst building regulatory and testing expertise applicable across fast-growing regions. The laboratory conducts work ranging from packaging validation to failure analysis. Amcor reported attributable net income of $278 million for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, up 41.8% year-on-year. The company plans to relocate selected corporate functions to a new Miami headquarters from 2027.

Amcor raises dividend to $0.65 and lifts earnings guidance on $270M Berry synergies

Amcor has raised its quarterly dividend to $0.65 per share and lifted adjusted fiscal 2026 earnings per share guidance to approximately $3.98 to $4.03, following third-quarter 2026 results showing sales of $5.91 billion and net income of $278 million. The raised guidance reflects $270 million in synergies from the Berry acquisition, which management is integrating whilst reshaping the company's portfolio. However, free cash flow expectations have been lowered due to higher inventories, creating challenges for a company focused on deleveraging and maintaining its 6% dividend yield. The investment case hinges on whether Berry integration and portfolio reshaping can boost earnings despite modest volume growth and leverage concerns. The company is divesting non-core assets and negotiating the sale of its ESE World waste-management unit.
