Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation component repairs is required.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, are required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Perform cleaning, disassembly, and repair of flight controls, structures, stabilizers, nacelles, exhaust, and other aircraft parts.
  • Repair, modify, replace, or overhaul aircraft parts to ensure airworthiness.
  • Perform work within estimated or budgeted hours.
  • Use heat control units properly.
  • Apply aircraft sealants using appropriate methods and use aircraft fasteners, including suitable substitutions and basic installation methods.
  • Fabricate parts as required and apply knowledge of metals and alloys, including where substitutes may be used.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Technical or trade school certifications are preferred.
