National Ability Center holds ride for adaptive athlete awareness. Posted: Sep 26, 2026 / 08:51 PM MDT Updated: Sep 26, 2026 / 08:52 PM MDT PARK CITY, Utah (ABC4) - The National Ability Center held its 17th annual MOFO Ride in Park City, raising awareness for adaptive athletes. Founded in Park City in 1985, the NAC empowers individuals with disabilities through adaptive recreation, outdoor adventure, and community-based programs that build confidence, independence, and belonging. The MOFO ride is one of the events that display that mission. "Puke Hill" marks the finish line of a course co-founded by Craig White. Riders started at 7 a.m. at the NAC, completed the course, and then attended a celebratory dinner together. The course challenges riders of all abilities, including adaptive riders, hand cyclists, and traditional stand-up bikers. "MOFO was an awesome day. Challenging, but a good challenging. This was my first MOFO, and I'm glad I did it and pushed myself," said Mackenzie Searle, a first time participant. "The NAC team wanted everyone to feel comfortable and safe on the ride, but also still push yourself, which is great. I traveled from Sun Valley, Idaho, for this event! I definitely will come back again next year." "I did my biggest climb ever today, even before my leg amputation," said Nathan Delemos, another first time participant. "The pace was great. I didn't get too tired till Puke Hill. Puke Hill was harder than usual today because we climbed from the base of Park City Mountain, but that made the descent all that much better."
