Requirements
  • Active Department of Defense Secret clearance, at minimum.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • At least 10 years of systems administration experience.
  • Current membership in the Cybersecurity Workforce under DoDD 8140.01 / DoDM 8140.03, with required qualifications maintained.
  • Experience with Live, Virtual, and Constructive events and integration of various constructive engines and simulators.
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a Naval Integrated Fire Control – Electronic Warfare node in accordance with MIL-HDBK-539, in conjunction with the Live, Virtual, and Constructive team.
  • Plan and execute distributed and non-distributed Live, Virtual, and Constructive events, including scripting and coding to unify disparate modeling and simulation systems.
  • Integrate constructive engines and simulators, including NCTE, NGTS, JSAF, and AFSIM, and Naval Spectrum Dependent Systems databases through the Real Time Spectrum Operations tool.
  • Support Hardware-In-the-Loop applications and enable interaction across modeling and simulation applications.
  • Integrate Numerical Weather Prediction data fusion and evaluate and integrate ONR-provided TRL-6+ tools, such as TruView, into the Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to model the Electromagnetic Operational Environment.
  • Analyze electronic warfare gaps, develop requirements for present and future Live, Virtual, and Constructive environments, and support electronic warfare fusion tools, Link messages, and combat-system interfaces including AEGIS and SSDS.
  • Perform site visits and planning meetings at NSWC Crane and remote sites.
Desired Qualifications
  • An active TS/SCI clearance.
  • A master's or doctorate degree.
  • Hands-on experience with NGTS, JSAF, AFSIM, or NCTE integration.
  • Experience with Hardware-In-the-Loop, sensor fusion such as NCCT, and Electromagnetic Operational Environment modeling.
  • Prior Navy or Department of Defense modeling and simulation or Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations range experience.
