- Ability to coordinate deliveries and pickups or swaps with warehouse, logistics, and external carrier teams.
- Ability to serve as the primary point of contact for order-related customer inquiries and maintain communication and order-change records in the Enterprise Resource Planning or customer relationship management system.
- Ability to speak and hear, sit for extended periods, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to handle objects, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to work full-time and overtime as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process and enter customer sales orders, including purchase orders and change orders, directly into the Enterprise Resource Planning system.
- Generate, audit, and dispatch customer invoices; work with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and manage payment terms.
- Serve as a key resource for Enterprise Resource Planning system usage within the operations department and ensure process flow from order initiation to billing closure.
- Initiate and track purchase orders for necessary items while managing inventory levels and vendor relationships.
- Monitor vendor production schedules and shipping timelines to determine item lead times and promptly communicate delays or schedule changes to the sales team and customers.
- Coordinate with internal warehouse and logistics teams and external carriers to schedule deliveries and coordinate pickups or swaps.
- Act as the primary contact for order-related customer inquiries about order status, lead times, delivery schedules, and product substitutions.
- Conduct follow-up calls or emails after delivery to confirm customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and resolve post-sale issues.
- Maintain current records of customer communications and order changes in the Enterprise Resource Planning or customer relationship management system.
