- Proficiency in using an Enterprise Resource Planning system for order entry, billing, purchasing, logistics, and documentation.
- Ability to accurately process and enter high volumes of customer sales orders (purchase orders and change orders) into the ERP system with zero tolerance for data errors in pricing, product codes, and customer information.
- Ability to generate, audit, and dispatch customer invoices and work with the accounting team to resolve discrepancies and manage payment terms.
- Knowledge of procurement processes including initiating and tracking purchase orders, managing inventory levels, and maintaining vendor relationships to optimize stock and supply.
- Ability to proactively monitor vendor production schedules and shipping timelines to determine accurate item lead times and communicate delays or schedule changes to the sales team and customers.
- Ability to coordinate with internal warehouse/logistics teams and external carriers to schedule timely deliveries and coordinate pickups or swaps as needed.
- Ability to act as the primary point of contact for all order-related inquiries, including status, lead times, delivery schedules, and product substitutions.
- Ability to conduct proactive follow-up calls or emails after delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve post-sale issues.
- Ability to maintain up-to-date records of customer communication and order changes within the ERP or Customer Relationship Management system.
