Design and conduct activities for residents that encourage continued social functioning and independence in daily activities.
Provide socialization activities that encourage interaction among residents, including reminiscence group discussions, current events, bingo, arts and crafts, period music, and pet care.
Provide daily living skills activities that maintain independent functioning, including walks in the building, morning and afternoon snacks, breakfast outings, and lunch outings.
Provide leisure-time activities that encourage personal interests and involvement with other residents, including card games, bowling, movie matinees, and gardening.
Provide physical activities that develop and maintain strength, coordination, and range of motion, including Velcro games, dancing, and exercise.
Provide educational activities that support continued learning and interest, including police and fire department safety lectures, travel presentations, and Bible study.
