Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive experience in compensation administration or a related Total Rewards role.
  • Strong understanding of compensation fundamentals including job evaluation, salary structures, market pricing, incentive design, and pay equity.
  • Experience utilizing and configuring Workday Advanced Compensation.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate data.
  • Ability to clearly communicate compensation concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CPHR), or progress toward certification, is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Administer AMA’s compensation programs, including base pay structures and job evaluation processes.
  • Support the annual compensation cycle, including performance, merit, and variable pay programs.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation survey data to help ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
  • Manage and optimize Workday Advanced Compensation modules, including configuration, eligibility rules, and compensation plans.
  • Execute and troubleshoot merit and bonus events, ensuring smooth processes and accurate data.
  • Analyze internal and external salary data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare compensation reports and insights to support HR and business leaders in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology, Finance, and other internal partners to ensure data accuracy and alignment across systems and processes.
