Role

With 2–4 years of experience in talent acquisition, you will take ownership of hiring across multiple initiatives and work closely with candidates, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders.

This is an individual contributor role with significant ownership and independence. Beyond executing hiring requirements, we are looking for someone who is curious about how recruitment can be made smarter, faster, and more effective through technology, AI, data, and better processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

Recruitment process management

• Job Description & Search Strategy: Translating hiring requirements into clear job descriptions, candidate profiles, and search strategies, while using data, market insights, and AI-enabled tools to make sourcing and hiring more targeted and efficient.
• Candidate Assessment Reports: Preparing detailed assessment reports after interacting with them and going through their career journey in detail
• Reference Check Reports: Presenting in-depth reference check reports after talking to multiple references in the industry
• Formalizing compensation break-up reports to understand CTC calculations including Variable/Bonus and ESOP pay-out plans

Candidate management:

• Talent Sourcing: Identify and engage relevant candidates through LinkedIn, industry networks, referrals, research, and other sourcing tools. Experiment with new tools, AI-enabled sourcing approaches, and creative research methods to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of talent discovery.
• Build and manage relevant candidate pipelines, using structured criteria and data-driven insights to prioritize profiles and improve conversion through the hiring funnel.
• Comprehensive Interviews with candidates to understand their profile, career path, growth trajectory, motivators, areas of development, red flags if any
• Analysing the soft aspects of candidate’s personality and its impact on his/her professional and personal decisions

Account Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and hiring managers, understand their evolving talent needs, and act as a trusted talent partner throughout the hiring process.
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, generate additional mandates, and engage relevant stakeholders on how Xponentiate can support their broader hiring needs.

Strategic initiatives

• Recruitment Innovation & Automation: Identify repetitive or manual parts of the recruitment process and explore ways to automate or improve them using AI and technology. Stay curious about new recruitment tools and experiment with approaches that make sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and hiring workflows more efficient.
• Talent Intelligence: Build and continuously strengthen a talent pool of digital health professionals in India. Track talent movements, emerging talent, relevant companies, and market trends
• Lead initiatives to create an ethical and fun working environment
• Help structure OKRs for the team and assist in quarterly assessment

Requirements

You should apply if:

• You have 2-4 years of overall experience in hiring
• You have worked in a tier-1 recruiting firm (Indian or global) or start-ups in a recruiting role
• You are a problem solver who looks beyond established processes and actively thinks about how sourcing, screening, candidate engagement, and other parts of recruitment can be done better.
• You are comfortable using technology and AI tools to make recruitment more efficient, and are naturally curious about experimenting with new tools and workflows.
• You have strong communication and people skills (we will be speaking with candidates and senior leaders everyday)
• You are a mid-career professional who can hire junior/mid roles and also navigate conversations with senior hires (CXO-level)
• Experience with recruiting for start-ups, healthcare companies, technology companies, VC funds, etc. is preferred
