Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years at an Executive Committee level in a large luxury hotel.
  • Previous experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing in the hospitality industry.
  • A diploma or bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, hotel management, or a related field.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, revenue optimization, labor-cost management, forecasting, and expense control.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and strategic decision-making in competitive and dynamic markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead, and motivate high-performing teams aligned with luxury-brand standards.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, attention to detail, results orientation, and an approachable leadership style.
  • Experience managing demanding, high-level clientele while consistently improving satisfaction and retention.
  • In-depth knowledge of international luxury standards, market trends, and service innovations.
  • Strong business-management skills, sound judgment, and problem-solving ability under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Fluency in French is essential for leading teams and managing daily operations.
  • Advanced English is required for interacting with international clientele and corporate partners.
  • Strong delegation and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize in a constantly changing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets, identify new business opportunities, strengthen brand presence, and monitor market and competitor activity.
  • Prepare the annual budget for approval and manage it rigorously throughout the year.
  • Set room-revenue and room-night objectives aligned with the hotel's overall targets.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Manage key market-segment accounts and maintain the integrity of key accounts and the prospect database.
  • Oversee sales forecasts and resource allocation to optimize team performance and maximize revenue generation.
  • Produce detailed sales and marketing performance reports, including key metrics, financial analyses, and campaign effectiveness, and present results and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base to support sustainable revenue growth.
  • Review sales contracts considering room counts, average rates, and the hotel's overall revenue objectives.
  • Oversee sales-pipeline development and use of customer relationship management systems to rigorously track customer interactions.
  • Manage incentive-sales programs when applicable.
  • Participate in selected commercial activities inside and outside the hotel.
  • Lead and manage the sales department while ensuring compliance with service standards and continuously promoting professional, courteous, and welcoming service.
  • Lead, support, and develop sales teams in a collaborative environment that values initiative, accountability, and professional development.
  • Balance operational, administrative, and human needs to ensure sound and responsible resource management.
  • Own the achievement of individual objectives for all sales-team members.
  • Provide guidance and direction in developing market-segment action plans.
  • Follow department policies and procedures and all safety policies.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and brand-positioning strategies in support of sales objectives.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with marketing partners and stakeholders while ensuring a consistent and polished experience at every touchpoint.
  • Use marketing-automation platforms and analytics tools to measure campaign performance and guide decisions.
  • Analyze market dynamics, the competitive landscape, and customer behavior to refine marketing approaches and improve results.
  • Participate in selected commercial activities inside and outside the hotel to increase brand visibility.
