Required Skills
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in B2B sales or business development roles
  • Experience in both CPG and Mass Retail channels
  • Start-up experience, working in a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for both leading and executing
  • Ability to manage a full 360 sales process from initial lead identification through P&L management to beat KPIs
  • Proactive and analytical thinker who autonomously seeks opportunities to drive growth
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to both craft compelling stories and be able to persuade buying teams
  • Experience working with brokers
  • Experience with merchandising, ISM, and merchandising support services to ensure best-in-class in-store execution & representation of our brand

  • Drive the success of our existing retail business by managing all of the levers necessary to beat our sales goals (promotional planning, pricing strategy, store execution, broker management, line review support, etc.)
  • Create and execute a clear, cohesive sales strategy for existing accounts and develop a roadmap for future expansion with the ability to build strong relationships with new partners
  • Manage the entire retailer workflow including onboarding, launch planning, forecasting, business planning for key submission dates, invoice and chargeback management, sales updates to internal stakeholders, and more
  • Analyze all available data and report out on key trends, performance to plan, upcoming forecasts, etc. to identify insights and opportunities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations/Supply Chain, Product Development, Brand & Growth Marketing, and Executive Leadership to execute plans
  • Support and develop pitch decks quarterly updates, developing compelling presentations and persuading buying teams to support Gainful expansion
  • Work with broker partners to build strong, beneficial relationships that help unlock growth
  • Support sales forecasting process with brokers, retailer planning teams, and internal stakeholders (finance, supply chain planning, executive leadership)
  • Identify opportunities for out of aisle features, partnering with brokers and retail partners to ensure Gainful is well represented
  • Develop and execute merchandising strategy including in-store signage, out of aisle features, working with ISM partners, and overseeing merchandising execution to ensure best-in-class brand representation and integrity
