About the job
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Three to five years of experience in inside or outside sales and/or customer service within a healthcare office setting or environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professionalism, problem-solving, supply management, and inventory control skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Perform general administrative duties, including answering calls, photocopying, faxing, scanning, mail distribution, and sales supply inventory management.
- Assist Territory Managers with establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships, including client-facing interactions.
- Help expedite the resolution of customer issues to maintain satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between field sales, patient access, TCMC, and local fulfillment centers where appropriate.
- Monitor referral platforms such as Curaspan, Allscripts, Wellstar, and Epic, along with fax queues and emails, for new referrals and orders.
- Communicate and monitor Insight and Teams threads to notify patient access of referrals in process and help establish order of priority.
- Facilitate sales team calls to review referral activity and the status of pending patients.
- Establish Teams platforms to assist with overall communication.
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external commercial meetings, including preparing agendas and materials and handling logistics.
- Conduct sales field activities to support Territory Managers' initiatives.
- Retrieve medical policies to help advance prior authorizations.
- Create therapy-specific customer collateral packages for Territory Managers.
- Facilitate transmission of pertinent documents and reports to referral partners.
- Send acknowledgment and appreciation messages to referral partners after receiving a referral.
- Experience with office management and working with leadership.
- A background in healthcare or the medical field.
