Requirements
  • Minimum of 7+ years' experience in the US commercial insurance industry
  • Knowledge and established relationships within the US commercial insurance industry
  • Working knowledge of commercial underwriting, pricing, and coverages in professional lines products
  • Exceptional reputation in the market with national insurance carriers, brokers, and stakeholders
  • Strategic mindset to differentiate from competitors and explore non-traditional distribution opportunities
  • Effective communicator with experience calling on and negotiating with the brokerage community
  • Ability to inspire trust and followership in others
  • Team player with the ability to influence in the absence of authority
  • Comfort working in a start-up environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with brokers at all levels
  • Develop regional business plans for growth and optimization
  • Conduct planned brokerage visits within an assigned territory
  • Support Regional Managers and underwriters
  • Stay informed of market conditions and competitive landscape
  • Manage, report, and track distribution partner results
  • Maintain alignment with market-facing executives
